The unique microclimate of the secluded Clark Valley allow specialty crops to
thrive. Established in 1982, the ranch utilizes sophisticated cropping patterns
with efficient drip irrigation, diverse cover crops and organic inputs to raise
selected varieities of delicious tasting exotic crops, like the Feijoa; native
to Brazil, the Horned melon from Africa and the Pepino melon originally from Chile.
Each fruit is hand picked and carefully packed on the ranch for shipment around
the world or for sale directly to the consumer at selected Farmer's markets.
Employees live and work on the ranch and take great pride in their work. The natural
habitat of oak woodlands, grasslands and riverine wetlands enhance the productive
fields.
